Introducing Gem-E: The Outbound Agent Powered by Signals
Revenue teams face a real problem: outbound that scales without sacrificing quality. We built Gem-E, our AI Outbound Agent, to solve it—by combining accurate contact data with buyer signals and AI that writes genuinely relevant outreach.
Gem-E was built to help sales development reps (SDRs) identify, prioritize, and engage with high-value accounts and contacts more efficiently.
At UserGems, we believe AI for sales needs to be built differently—starting with accurate data, working inside your existing stack, and measured by real pipeline, not vanity metrics. The solution requires building AI on accurate data from the ground up. Generic data makes everyone sound the same and often produces completely inaccurate results.
Accurate data powers every signal. It's also what makes AI in GTM actually work.
The second critical piece is your own data: your CRM history, call recordings, emails, and notes. There’s so much untapped knowledge within your systems that’s often ignored. AI needs that context to prioritize accounts and craft relevant messaging.
Only then can AI truly improve both the quality and quantity of your outreach.
All of this led us to build Gem-E, our AI Outbound Agent.
Accurate data is at its heart. Trustworthy data creates trustworthy AI. Many providers are saying that good enough is good enough. AI requires excellence in data quality.
It’s built on top of your data. Gem-E combines your CRM data with our proprietary signals to draft messages that feel handcrafted by your best reps.
And it gives you full control by integrating into your tech stack. This integrates transparently into your existing workflow with full visibility and control.
Here's how Gem-E works inside your existing workflow:
How Gem-E works: Create & enrich
Gem-E uses UserGems proprietary signals to identify and prioritize the right prospects using:
People Signals: Past Champions, New Hires & Promotions, Referrals and identifying the rest of the buying group
Company Signals: Customer Competitors, Funding, Hiring, Website Visits & Intent
Gem-E also factors in your CRM data like:
When to re-engage with Closed Lost Opportunities
What accounts and contacts are best-fit for you based on your recent Closed Won Opps
Product Usage
Other past users to reference in messaging
As Jay Vira, our Product Manager, explains:
“Gem-E connects multiple data layers to surface leads that are ready to engage. It removes the guesswork and gives reps a prioritized list of real opportunities.”
By combining these data points, Gem-E ensures you’re spending time on accounts and contacts that are more likely to convert—which means more pipeline from the same effort.
Prioritizing accounts and contacts
Gem-E ranks accounts and contacts based on how likely they are to convert based on signals like:
Accounts:
Accounts are identified, scored and ranked based on how many signals (both account level and person level) are present. Gem-E will also find net-new accounts that match your ICP that have signals.
Gem-E’s scoringis dynamic and updated as new signals emerge, ensuring your pipeline never goes stale.
Contacts:
Contacts are also identified and ranked based on the likelihood they will respond to a message based on their person level signals. Gem-E ranks your existing contacts if they are already in your CRM and finds net-new contacts using signals.
Not so fun fact: most companies are missing 70% or more of these contacts in their CRM.
These contacts are then sent directly to your CRM and Sales Engagement tools so sales teams can continue to work within the platforms they know best.
Jay notes:
“We designed the prioritization engine to feel intuitive for SDRs. It tells you exactly where your time is best spent today.”
Messaging
Gem-E identifies leads and creates personalized outreach messages based on hundreds of signal combinations. SDRs can engage effectively with messaging that actually feels relevant.

As Jay puts it:
“The messaging suggestions use the specific context of each lead. It’s like having a playbook written for you—one that references the right signal, the right past relationship, or the right timing.”
Gem-E on auto-pilot vs co-pilot
People tend to think of “copilot” vs “autopilot” as very black & white: AI only surfaces info vs. AI does everything. It's actually a spectrum. Gem-E integrates seamlessly with Sales Engagement Platforms (SEP) either through Automated Workflows or the UserGems Chrome Extension, allowing SDRs to work efficiently without disrupting their existing workflows.
Here’s how it works:
Autopilot:
Define what types of accounts should run on auto-pilot, then Gem-E will find prospects with signals that match your ICP then create and send messages on your reps’ behalf.
Co-Pilot:
Gem-E will find prospects with signals that match your ICP then create messages in your SEP which your reps’ can verify, tweak and send out.
When SDRs view an account in Outreach or Salesloft, Gem-E automatically highlights top-priority contacts, along with relevant insights and signals.
UserGems Chrome Extension for Salesloft and Outreach generates tailored messaging templates based on account signals, which SDRs can tweak or use directly.
“The integration with Outreach and Salesloft means SDRs move directly from discovery to execution. They spend less time on research, more time on actual conversations.” Jay explains.
This streamlined process saves time, reduces manual research, and ensures reps always have a clear plan for action.
Why Gem-E
Gem-E helps SDRs focus on the right leads—the ones with real buyer signals and context that makes outreach actually relevant. By integrating with the tools you already use, Gem-E ensures you’re spending less time researching and more time connecting.
As Jay sums it up:
“Gem-E makes outbound more effective by focusing your team on accounts that are actually ready to buy, with messaging that references real context.”
